Wesley College And The Great War
Book design, layout, historic photo sourcing

To commemorate the centennial of the First World War, Wesley College commissioned a text-book exploring the experiences of old collegians who enlisted to fight and examining the lasting impact of war on the school itself. The book was used as a classroom resource, with each chapter posing questions and providing moments of reflection for students.

Readers & Writers Festival
Programme layout, website design, event resource design: tickets, posters, banners, online assets

Every year, Wesley College runs a literature festival across its three campuses, targeted to young teenagers. Keynote speakers have included celebrities such as astronaut Chris Hadfield and fashion icon Tavi Gevinson. Each year explores a different theme, for which I design the posters, booklets, ticketing setup, online assets, banners and signage.

Shakespeare Study Guide
Print layout, infographic design, information visualisation.

This project, a VCE Shakespeare study guide, was originally a straightforward layout brief, but became an opportunity to explore the use of visual language as a learning tool. Instead of a text-based synopsis, I created a visual timeline, using iconography to pinpoint significant moments throughout the play. Additional infographics and colour-coding throughout the guide helped students to untangle the play’s themes and narrative structure.
